Mary Templeton serves as the President and CEO of Michigan Saves, the nation’s first nonprofit green bank whose mission is to stimulate and support investment in energy efficiency and renewable energy in homes, businesses, and public buildings. Since 2010, Michigan Saves has supported over $225 million in clean energy investments in over 24,000 homes and businesses throughout Michigan.
Prior to joining Michigan Saves, Mary served in several high-level executive roles with international companies, including R.L. Polk & Company and the SAS Institute. Mary serves on the board of directors for Habitat for Humanity of Michigan. She is a founding member and on the advisory board for the nonprofit Advancing Women in Energy. In 2018 she was recognized as one of Crain’s Notable Women in Finance.
