Gerry Anderson is executive chairman of DTE Energy. Anderson joined DTE in 1993 and held various senior executive leadership positions until being named president in 2004 and CEO in 2010. He is the architect behind DTE’s long-standing commitment to significantly reduce its carbon emissions, enabling the energy company to become a leader in environmental stewardship.
Anderson is co-chairman of the Edison Electric Institute’s (EEI) Committee on Environment and serves on the board of trustees of The Nature Conservancy (Michigan chapter). He is the founder of the Detroit Regional CEO Group and chairs the Detroit Regional Partnership and Detroit Economic Club.
