Marian Van Pelt

Senior Vice President, Climate and Clean Energy + ICF Climate Center Senior Fellow

Marian is a climate change and sustainability expert with over 20 years of experience. She leads ICF’s Climate, Energy and Transportation Division, overseeing groundbreaking work with the federal government, utilities, state and local governments, and private-sector companies.

Nominated by the U.S. to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change’s Roster of Experts, Marian provides greenhouse gas inventory systems training and technical assistance to clients worldwide. She prepares monitoring and evaluation tools to appraise emissions reductions, support baseline development, and quantify emission reduction potential across various federal, municipal, and commercial organizations.

Marian is also a senior fellow with the ICF Climate Center. In this role, Marian provides compelling research and objective perspectives on a wide range of climate-related topics.
