Based in Vancouver, BC, Kevin Davis has driven successful business development initiatives across a number of sectors in the concrete construction space. Through managing global sales and marketing teams, Davis has developed major construction markets in places as diverse as Singapore, Beijing, Delhi, Dubai and London while maintaining a stable North American base.
Currently focused on delivering low carbon concrete solutions for the ready mixed concrete channel through the introduction and use of CO2, Davis looks to reduce the carbon footprint of our built environment, one truckload at a time. Davis is also advancing the development and deployment of new technologies, with the use of mineralized CO2 extracting value from returned concrete in the handling of reclaimed water and recycled concrete aggregate.
Davis is currently active in a number of sustainability and carbon reduction initiatives through organizations such as the Carbon Leadership Forum, the Embodied Carbon Network and the Zero Carbon Emission programs through the Canada Green Building Council (CAGBC) and U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC). By also being active in direct concrete industry groups such as the American Concrete Institute (ACI), the California Construction and Industrial Materials Association (CalCIMA), the Portland Cement Association (PCA) and the National Ready Mixed Concrete Association (NRMCA), he is able to connect focused efforts between industry and the market.
