Kaitlyn Pritchard is the Head of Climate and Clean Energy at the Canadian Embassy in Washington, D.C., where she works on issues related to renewable electricity, hydrogen, cross-border infrastructure, and bilateral climate cooperation with the U.S.
A career Foreign Service Officer, she has worked in humanitarian affairs and disaster response, Latin American bilateral relations, and as a lawyer in Global Affairs Canada’s Legal Bureau. Her overseas assignments include Kabul, Afghanistan and at Canada’s Permanent Mission to the United Nations in Geneva. Prior to coming to D.C., she was posted to Canada’s Permanent Mission to the U.N. in New York.
Kaitlyn holds a BA in International Relations from the University of British Columbia and a JD from Northwestern University in Chicago.
