James Lee manages the ESG Sourcing team at The Clorox Company and leads the Scope 3 Climate Action strategy for the global company. James started his education and career in Sustainable Agriculture and International Development, aggregating and disseminating innovative agricultural techniques to subsistence farmers in the tropics. Developing a passion for sustainability within supply chains, James pursued an M.Sc in Corporate Sustainability at the University of York in the UK, writing his research dissertation on innovative technology for supply chain sustainability. One of James’ most proud accomplishments was leading a Modern Slavery Procurement Tool project in collaboration with the Ethical Trading Initiative and the UK Home Office that was rolled out to all public procurement teams in the UK.
