Heather Repenning is the Executive Officer for Sustainability Policy at LA Metro, the public transportation authority for Los Angeles County. Heather oversees policies and programs that impact our climate as well as air quality and other natural resources. Her office recently completed the Electric Vehicle Implementation Plan for the agency, a Greenhouse Gas Emissions Analysis of the agency’s major programs, a first-of-its-kind Tree Policy, and a partnership with locals CBOs on the South LA Eco-Lab Transformative Climate Communities grant. Heather also serves as Vice Chair for Climate Action of the Metropolitan Water District. Repenning previously held the role of Vice President of the City of LA Board of Public Works.
