Dr. Idania Zamora has been working in the climate and air quality fields for over 18 years. She currently manages programs at the nexus of public health, air pollution mitigation, and climate resilience in overburdened communities. She led the teams that crafted emission reduction strategies for methane and fluorinated gases in the San Francisco Bay Area. She also helped develop regulation to reduce emissions from the refinery and oil and gas sectors. Idania obtained a MS in Chemical Engineering and a PhD in Environmental Sciences from Stanford University.
