Dan Krekelberg is a California based climate policy expert with 15 years of experience in the field of sustainability planning. As Policy Director at The Climate Registry he is responsible for the design and implementation of protocols, standards, and tools for carbon accounting. Dan’s experience includes consulting to federal, state and local agencies on greenhouse gas emissions analysis and mitigation, net zero energy and emissions, and planning for utility-scale renewable energy deployment. Dan has an MSc. in Urban Management and Development specializing in climate change planning from Erasmus University Rotterdam and a BA in Government from California State University, Sacramento.
