Cathy Woollums has served as the Senior Vice President, Chief Sustainability Officer for Berkshire Hathaway Energy since September 2018, and is responsible for the development and implementation of the company’s worldwide corporate sustainability program and advancing the company’s journey to net zero greenhouse gas emissions. Woollums serves as the chair of Berkshire Hathaway Inc.’s Sustainability Leadership Council.
Ms. Woollums is licensed to practice law in Iowa and Illinois and has served on the Iowa State Bar Association’s Environmental and Natural Resources Section Council, the Edison Electric Institute’s ESG Committee and the Iowa Climate Change Advisory Council. She is a member of the board of directors of The Climate Registry and serves as the chair of its finance committee.
