Bob Keefe is executive director of E2, a national nonpartisan organization of more than 10,000 business leaders who advocate for policies that are good for our economy and good for our environment. He is the author of the 2022 book “Climatenomics: Washington, Wall Street and the Economic Battle to Save Our Planet” and also the just-released “Clean Economy NOW: Stories From the Frontlines of an American Business Revolution” (April, 2024). Bob has testified about the clean economy before Congress and numerous state legislatures, and has appeared in media outlets including the New York Times, Washington Post, Fox, CNN and others. Prior to joining E2 in 2011, Bob spent more than 20 years as journalist, covering business, political, national and environmental news. He served as the Washington correspondent for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution; as a national reporter for the Cox Newspapers/Cox News Service chain; as technology editor of the Austin (TX) American-Statesman and as a business and investigative reporter for the St. Petersburg (Fla.) Times and The Greenville (SC) News. He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and was a fellow at the University of Southern California’s Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism.
