At Ford, Artealia leads environmental and sustainability communications and advocacy, supporting Ford’s efforts to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050 and transition to electric vehicles. Her career spans the public and private sector and a range of issues affecting transportation from well-to-wheels, including land-use planning, energy development and permitting, environmental policy and public engagement. Notably, she served as part of the leadership team that launched Columbia University’s Climate School and was a senior executive in the Obama Administration, where she led communications, public engagement, and legislative strategy for the Department of Transportation’s energy and environment portfolio. Artealia is an alumnus of Syracuse University and the University of Texas at San Antonio, and an Air Force Veteran. She lives in Brooklyn.
